TRISTAN+ISOLDE

Well, this movie wasn’t really one I was looking forward to seeing. I get my fill of girl movies pretty quick, but it wansn’t as bad as I thought. Let me also point out that Jessi fell asleep again in the middle. It’s beginning to be a pattern, although rightfully so. She’s exhausted with keeping up with Olivia and getting ready to bring another one into the world. I can’t imagine.

Anyway, about the movie. It’s certainly not one that will bring any Oscars (at least not that I would think), but it was entertaining. The story line has a familiar Romeo and Juliet feel (hence the tag line), but different enough that it’s NOT Romeo and Juliet. And it’s certainly not that HORRIBLE Leonardo DiCaprio remake.

There was plenty of sword fighting (and fighting in general) to keep my attention, and just enough lovey dovey to keep your sweetie’s. (unless she’s tired). I do have to say, that I thought the ending was ridiculous which is one of the reasons I disliked the movie.

But, it’s a good movie to pass some time if you’re at the movie rental and can’t find anything that you haven’t already seen. Anybody else seen this movie? Post a comment.
