House Swap and Snow?

As most of you know, our house has been on the market for almost 6 months now. Sadly, soon after we listed it, the housing market decided to “slump”. Although we’ve had quite a few showings, no offers yet.

This past week, however, a young couple took a look at the house and the word from the realtor was they liked it. We then found out that they were going to be listing their house - a smaller 2 bedroom - which is what we were looking for in order to save some money to finish paying off our debt - which we will NEVER get ourselves under again - if we have anything to say about it.

This got our little brains spinning. So we checked out their house and decided to make an offer contingent on their buying ours. It might be a long-shot, but it’d be worth it. We’ll know by the end of the week the outcome. Be praying that things work out as they should - one way or the other.

In other news, snow may be on the way for later this week. After being in the 60s for a little while now - I actually put up Christmas lights the other night from 9:00 - 11:00pm outside with only a light sweater on! - we’re supposed to be getting some snow. Personally I feel that if it’s going to be bone-chilling cold outside, there should at least be some pretty white stuff on the ground to show for it. So bring it on. I’m dreaming of a white Christmas.
