No Swap Nor Snow

An update to my previous post. After looking at our house three different times – the last being with both sets of parents – the couple who’s house we were going to swap decided not to. So we’re back to square one. We knew it would be an act of God, and apparently, He’s got something else in store.

We were also disappointed with the lack of snow this past week. First they called for 1-6 inches, then 1-3, but all we got was lots of rain. The elusive ‘white christmas’ remains in hiding.

Hopefully you’ve all had a wonderful weekend. We had fun at a surprise birthday party for Jessi’s cousin from New Jersey today with all of her family. She (Jessi) and the girls are staying at her Mom & Dad’s until Wednesday, but it sounds like she’s coming home tomorrow because it’s been too difficult this evening to get Olivia and Ellie to sleep without their own beds. The life of a mother with two babies.
