Life-Changing News? See Below…
Although it’s kind of hard to tell with this photo (there are others in the photo gallery), the girls got their ears pierced last night. YES, both of them. 
Jessi almost chickened out with Ellie, but I told her I wasn’t going through this again!
I had to hold both girls as they got them done. Olivia was great until about 10 seconds after it was all over, then reality sunk in as to what just happened. She only cried for a few moments though – she found a pretty beaded necklace that we eventually bought because we felt bad for her.
Ellie on the other hand started crying as soon as I “tried” to hold her head still. I can’t believe how hard it is to keep an 8 week old still! Let’s just say I’m amazed that the girls at Libby Lu got the earrings in straight. She didn’t cry much afterwards though. They were both such brave girls.
Thank goodness that’s over with, but as they say….beauty hurts.

You didn’t think that Nana could read this post without putting in her 2 cents, did you? I rated this post 1 star, only because your site limits the ratings from 1 to 5 stars. After conducting an exhaustive search, sure enough negative 10 stars was just not one of the available ratings! This pic is almost as sad as the pic on the back of your commode, and you know how much Nana loves that one :-p (sarcasm added for effect). I don’t know, call me crazy Nana, but when I see a pic of my precious grandgirls crying while simultaneously being restrained by their father as a stranger is boring holes in their ears…(exaggeration added for effect) well, it’s simply distressing for Nana & Papa.
However, I do admit that the grandgirls will look soooooo cute with little earrings in their ears. Can you say 1/2 caret studs, Daddy?
