House News & Wedding Road Trip

It’s been 8 months, but we’ve finally had an offer on the house that we’ve “accepted”. It’s a loooong story, but we’re now waiting on their financing to approve. This also means that we’re now looking around for a house or apartment. We’re going to be viewing a few today before we leave for the weekend. We’ll keep you updated on what we like and/or pick.
After the house hunting, we’ll be heading to Ohio for the weekend as Jessi is the maid of honor in her friend’s wedding. It will be the girls’ first road trip for more than an hour, so hopefully that will go way. Fortunately, we decided to buy a handy dandy DVD kit for the car that should keep them entertained for when it gets a little cranky. Please keep us in your prayers as we travel.

In other news, Dad is filling in for me on Saturday and Sunday on the paper route, which means … I’M OFFICIALLY DONE!!! No more getting up every stinkin morning of every stinkin day to deliver the stinkin papers. Can you sense the excitement? We were very thankful for the Lord bringing it to us, but are even more thankful now that He’s worked out another way.

Welp, I’m off to finish packing and then to pick Jessi up from work. Have a great weekend!
