House Hunting Update

After viewing three houses on Friday before Ohio, we came to the conclusion that it’s VERY hard to downsize to an older/smaller house without comparing it to our nicer/bigger house. The ones we looked at were crap. And not just because we were being picky, they were crap by any standards.

Which brings me to a question…don’t people clean their house for showings - or are they REALLY that disgusting?

We’re going to look at (what is right now our top and only choice) tomorrow - it’s quite a bit smaller (more like our old house), but we know it’s been well taken care of and they were putting a new roof and carpeting over this last weekend - so we’ll see.

Still no word on financing for the people who made the offer on our house…I’m sure we’ll hear something soon.
