Looking Forward To: Summer Fun!
Popularity: 21%I can’t WAIT for a lot of things this summer - taking the girls to the lakes and zoo, seeing the fam from MS and elsewhere (hi Hocks!), and generally just being able to go OUTSIDE and not freeze my buns off. 
And of course, Cedar Point. The yearly trek to the wild, wacky, fun capital of the world. This year, they’re unveiling a new terra-coaster called, Maverick. You can learn more about it here. Here are some quick facts:
* 95-degree first drop
* Two 360-degree corkscrew rolls
* One 360-degree heartline roll
* Eight airtime-filled hills
* One 400-foot-long tunnel
* 10 banked turns, from 62 to 92 degrees
* Track will go under the load/unload station
* One of the steepest first drops on a roller coaster
* First of its kind “Twisted Horseshoe Roll”
* Fourth longest coaster at Cedar Point
* Third most expensive roller coaster at Cedar Point

hmm, let me think about that… THE BEACH! (in june)
reds games,
a cubs game… hopefully.
steak nite at the yacht club on the river,
laying by the pool,
etc.

Angel’s graduation, a trip to Chicago, Andrew’s military graduation, a candlelight dinner (including, of course, an after dinner dance) on Navy Pier), grandgirls at the lakes playing in the sand, grandgirls at the zoo, grandgirls making sidewalk chalk drawings, grandgirls at the park, grandgirls on an evening walk in the summer breeze, grandgirls swinging, grandgirls at the petting zoo (Livi making all the animal sounds!), grandgirls falling asleep in Nana & Papa’s arms, spending quality family time with beloved southern folk…whoa! I’m getting all tuckered out just thinking of things that I want to do this summer! Mostly though, time with family & friends and serving my Lord & Saviour in whatever He has planned for me, remembering to grow in my personal relationship with Him.
