Q&A: Meet Happy

After 8 long months without any furry members of our family, we finally have a new addition - his name…?
Happy.
He originally came to us as “Harley”, but we wanted to change it and “Happy” seemed a good substitute while not totally confusing the poor guy. 
We actually picked him up from a girl who was moving and couldn’t take him with her, so it worked out best for all of us.
Instead of just describing him to you, I thought I’d interview him and see what he had to say…

Aaron: So tell me, exactly what kind of dog are you?
Happy: Wouldn’t YOU like to know? Seriously though, I’m a Boxer mix - can’t you tell?
A: I thought I sensed a bit of that in you. So how do you like living here with our family?
H: 
It’s not that bad, really. I mean what’s not to like? There’s free food, plenty of fresh water, a nice big back yard, and 2 little kids to terrorize - I mean, love.
A: Nice save. Speaking of the kids, what do you enjoy doing with them most?
H: I’d have to definitely say … licking their snotty, slobbery faces. I just can’t get enough of that salty stuff.
A: I should have known.
H: Well, what do YOU enjoy doing with them?
A: I’m their Dad, I love doing everything with them…wait, I’m the one asking the questions here!
H: Sorry.
A: So, where do you sleep in the house?
H: Well, really anywhere I want to during the day. At night I tried to secure my spot on the bed, but as you know, I was swiftly booted. I’ve been provided with a nice comforter on the floor to rest on though. It’ll do.
A: I’m glad it’ll do. What kind of activities are you involved in?
H: Well, let’s see…I love to chase this stuffed cat that I took over. It used to be Olivia’s, but she quickly learned who was boss. Then there’s always playing fetch with myself. I just can’t get enough of tossing my bone in the air and chasing after it. Then there was this one time…
A: Let me just stop you right there…I know where you’re going with that - let’s keep this family friendly. Any last thoughts?
H: Well, any chance I can have free rein of the house while you’re gone?
A: You had your chance. You know what happened last time.
H: Oh yeah, well, I guess the laundry room will have to do.
