Micro-Maniacs (But SO Cool)
Popularity: 19%When I was little, I was always concocting strange ‘experiments’ (as I referred to them) - just ask Joey. One week it was a mixture of cleaners from the laundry room, the next, it was old paint and whatever else we could find in the junk pile not far from our house.
The one thing that we were always forbidden to play with, however, was the microwave. We always thought that it would blow up or we’d get some sort of disease if we microwaved anything other than edible objects. (which is probably true)
However, these brave stupid souls, decided to defy death and stick all sorts of amazing objects into the microwave. Let’s hope they had plenty of ventilation and/or gas masks on for these ‘experiments’.
Either way, I thank them for giving so unselfishly their very lives for the cause of greater entertainment.
Click the image below to watch - the most interesting to me were the Christmas Lights and Eggs (keep an eye on the inside glass during the eggs)…

I can certainly attest as to the validity of Aaron & Joey’s “experiments”. All of our children were always quite entertaining from a very early age. There were musicals complete with microphones (hair brushes), stage (bottom bunk), drama curtain (sheet hanging from the top bunk), choreography & lots of singing (frequently of their own composition!), song & dance routines, secret clubs with weekly dues (always given to Aaron to defer administrative costs) & lots of “experiments”…Little Angel was always the lovely assistant while Aaron usually came up with the “deadly concoction” or “death defying feat”, then had his trusty lab assistant (Joey or Andrew) test the final product to make sure he wasn’t gonna be poisoned or adversely altered in any way. So, this definitely takes me back to the “good ‘ol days” when the children were wide-eyed, innocent, full of questions & still had that child-like faith that Mama & Daddy would always have the answers to their inquisitive minds!
Like sands in the hour-glass, so are the days of our lives!
