POOPED: Unplanned Landscape

Today, the girls woke up around 7:30 - a little earlier than normal, so we decided to head to the grocery store early to - hopefully - beat the rush. We made it out of Wal-Mart in not too bad of time, only to come home to the neighbors pulling out half of their landscape bushes. Next thing we knew, they were offering them to us or they were going to become mulch! Of course, we took them…anything to make our square house a little more friendly.

So plans changed - what was going to be a day of cleaning the inside of the house (in preparation of my cousins coming Monday from MS), turned into an unplanned day of landscaping. Lots of digging, ten bushes, and a truck-load of mulch later, we now have a decent start to our new landscaping. I haven’t had a chance to take photos, but I’ll try to get some tomorrow.

Now, I’m pooped. I wasn’t prepared for manual labor, but a BIG THANK YOU goes out to the Millers for all their help today - we couldn’t ask for better neighbors (not just because of this).
