Cardboard Boat Race 07

UPDATED: Added a video clip.

Our neighbors have been preparing for a cardboard boat race at our community pool for weeks now. We wanted to go to support them and had a great time. I might be helping our girls out in the near future with this – although there IS an adult category…

The actual boats have to be made out of cardboard and duct tape only – but can be decorated with anything else. While some boats took on so much water they sank, others – incredibly – made it across the entire pool!

Anyway…Alex won 2nd place in speed and Ben won 1st – if Emily hadn’t of lost her paddle, she might have won it all!
