Shopping in Peace.
Popularity: 17%Well, almost.
Every now and then, we head up to the Fort Wayne Meijer to do some grocery shopping - sometimes you just have to get away from Bluffton - and Jessi likes that they triple coupons…she’s such a mom.
Anyhoo, to our amazement as we walked into the store, there was a small parking area full of these TV Carts. We walked over to check them out (of course!) and lo and behold, there it was - a green and purple shopping cart in the shape of a car with enough room for both Ellie and Livi playing an episode of Barney on a small TV inside - I never wanted to sing back the “I Love You, You Love Me” song to that hunk of a purple dinosaur more than I did at that moment.
Imagine…actually shopping through the store without the screaming, crying, kicking, and “I wanna walk!” fiasco that is normally the Kipfer shopping experience!
Unfortunately for us, neither one of us had a dollar bill (the required fee for such bliss) and to top it off, the little machine where we would normally deposit said dollar was displaying some error to the effect of, “not working - try again later”. WHAT!?! So we tackled the first poor worker we found and asked if there was a way to rent this very last cart.
This time, fortunately for us, the cart hadn’t been “deactivated”, so we got to use it for FREE! Long story short, it made the marathon shopping trip MUCH more pleasant. Thank you, Meijer.
