Where I Work: The Neoti Broadcast Network
Popularity: 19%Many of you may have heard about my recent job change, but have no idea what it is that we do. Well, hopefully I can shed some light on the subject.
First of all, the name, Neoti, stands for “Next Electronics on the Internet”. It was a name that Josh Mitchell came up with (someone I used to work with at OnlyInternet) a long time ago. He and Derek Myers (my current boss) started constructing Neoti a few years back, but Josh has since moved on to pursue other opportunities - the name, however, remains.
We (Neoti) are creating a community-focused digital signage network currently focusing on restaurant venues where we are assured a captive audience. Even Olivia watches the screens! We are currently focusing on the Fort Wayne market, but are in negotiations to branch out into a nationwide franchise - if this happens, the sky’s the limit!
Basically we install HD LCD screens in restaurants (or other venues such as stadiums, etc) and run not only advertising, but free community content as well. This is what sets us apart from most - if not all - other digital signage companies you may have come across. We dedicate 1/3 of our advertising space to communtiy content - this can be anything from church events, local school sports, high school atheletes of the months, library events, and so on - and we design and display the community advertisements for FREE!
In addition to the HD network, we also install FREE WiFi HotSpots in each of the venues - and are testing other add-ons such as digital menu boards, corporate training solutions, mobile integration, and more.
From a personal standpoint, I appreciate the “God honoring” mention in our mission statement as well as our dedication to giving back through philanthropic efforts.
But what do I really do?
Well, just about everything right now - including making the morning coffee. :) My official forte’, if you will, is graphic and web design, but I have a technical background as well, so who knows where I’ll end up - where I’m needed most, I suppose.
If you want to view a brief video of what we do in a nutshell, you can click on the image above or jump to the video.
If you’re reading this and are interested in adding our network to your venue, or would like more information on advertising or any of our services, feel free to give me a call at 877-35-NEOTI (877-356-3684).

Does Jeff McLauglin still own the Cessna 337 Skymaster?
If so, we would like to invite him to our annual meeting, being held in Kalamazoo, Michigan June 11-14.
