Back from Canadian Soil

Can you believe they let me back in!?  :)  This past week I spent - with 3 other co-workers - training in Montreal, Quebec, Canada!  It was a great experience- although hard being away from my 3 girls.  I ended up buying a webcam just to be able to see them and have them see me through Skype - it worked great!!

The unfortunate part of the entire trip was that we I had to drive the 17 hours there and 14 hours back!!  We made a few detours on the way there at Niagara Falls and to see one of David’s friends from college.

Montreal was very nice - I wouldn’t mind taking Jessi back.  The only thing that caught me off guard was that everything was French - from the street signs and billboards to the spoken language.  I hadn’t done enough homework beforehand, that’s for sure.  Fortunately, most everyone also spoke English, so we weren’t entirely lost.

I AM glad to be home, though.  There’s no place like it.
