On the Road to Recovery

I decided to create a new post about Mamaw since she has made a turn for the better and isn’t necessarily in “urgent” need of prayer.    PTL!!

They were able to remove the breathing tube on Wednesday and she is now breathing on her own.  She was finally able to talk Wednesday evening when we saw her and said she remembered us being there on Tuesday evening, so that was a good sign. She was also mad that one of the doctors made the comment that she was “elderly” – back to the same ol’ Mamaw. 

Last night (Thursday) we went up again and she had even been able to sit in a chair for 3 hours as she says, “waiting on my supper.”  She was also able to talk much clearer and from what everyone is saying, should make a full recovery.  She’ll have quite a bit of physical therapy afterwards from being weak, but thanks to all of your prayers, no doubt, she’ll be back up and raring to go in no time!
