Happy 31st Birthday, Honey! :)

Today was Jessi’s birthday – another year older and closer to death as we used to say. 

Mom and Dad came over and watched the girls so we could have some much needed time away on our own!

We had a wonderful dinner (as always) at Jessi’s favorite restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, then walked around Jefferson Pointe for a little while where she – of course – found some cute clothes for the girls and reluctantly bought a jacket for herself (I had to make her buy something for herself).

Afterward, we both went the Christian bookstore and purchased brand-spankin new Bibles.  We were in desperate need of some new ones, so we decided to go ahead and get them.  It’s been a goal of ours to get back into a habit of getting more into the Word.  More on the Bibles once we have a chance to go through them for a while, but I think we’ll enjoy them.
